POPULATION REGISTRY EXTRACT

Population registry extract, regular or extended, with apostille

The registry extract (Tamtzit Rishum) records a person's details in the Israeli Population Registry. We collect the original, apostille it and translate it into English.

Regular or extended?

The regular extract shows the basic personal details. The extended extract adds information such as previous addresses and names, marital status, and details of spouse and children.

The extract is issued in Hebrew only, so most foreign authorities will also need a notarized English translation. We prepare it in-house.

Name-change certificates

If your name was changed in Israel, a name-change certificate links your current and previous names. Authorities often ask for it together with the birth certificate or registry extract. We collect it, apostille it and translate it in the same order.

What we need from you

  • Full name and Israeli ID number of the person named in the extract.
  • Regular or extended extract, and whether you also need a name-change certificate.
  • Your destination country and delivery address.
  • A signed power of attorney.

Your power of attorney: three ways to sign

To collect documents on your behalf we need your power of attorney. Choose the route that fits you:

Online, in minutes

Israeli citizens and residents aged 18 or over with an active Israeli national digital ID (GovID) can grant us a power of attorney online through the Population and Immigration Authority. No notary and no mail.

At an Israeli embassy or consulate

Israeli citizens abroad can sign the power of attorney directly before the Israeli consul, without a notary.

Before a local notary

Anyone else signs before a notary in their country of residence. The signature then needs consular authentication. We send you the exact wording.

For the embassy and notary routes we need the original signed document, sent to our office by courier.

Frequently asked questions

Authorities usually say whether they need proof of current details only or a full family and address history. Upload their requirements with your request and Adv. Pudim will confirm which extract fits.

When the name in your current documents differs from the name in your birth record, the name-change certificate shows that both names belong to the same person.

Yes, with that person's power of attorney. For a person who has passed away, the request must come from a relative who can prove the family relationship.

Our attorneys and office staff collect the documents and take them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem for apostille. Notarized translations are apostilled at the Magistrate's Court. Every file is handled under Adv. Pudim's supervision.

Upload the authority's requirements with your request. Adv. Pudim reviews them before quoting, so we order the document the authority actually asked for.

It depends on the documents, the issuing authority and the delivery address. We give you an estimate with the quote and keep you updated as each stage is completed.

Your quote lists every government fee separately, such as issuing fees and apostille fees, next to our professional fee, so you can see exactly what you pay for.

Yes. Send one request listing all the documents and people. We handle them together, which usually saves time and courier costs.
