ISRAELI DOCUMENTS SERVICES

Terms of Service

The terms that apply to requests sent through these pages and to the services we provide.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who we are

Israeli Documents Services is a service of Yehonatan Pudim, Attorney and Notary ("Pudim Law", "we", "us"). Pudim Law is a law office licensed in Israel, with offices at 21 Ashkenazi St., Tel Aviv, and 68 Kanfei Nesharim St., Jerusalem. Phone: +972-3-551-7801. Email: info@pudimlaw.co.il.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the following, all on the pages under pudimlaw.co.il/israeli-documents/:

  • your use of those pages;
  • any request you send through the order form;
  • any services we provide after you accept our quote.

By sending a request you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them.

3. The service

At your request, we:

  • collect original Israeli public documents in person from the issuing authority;
  • arrange a physical apostille;
  • where requested, prepare a notarized English translation and arrange its apostille;
  • send the documents to you by courier.

The documents we handle are listed on our pages.

We serve destination countries that are party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. Consular legalization for other countries is not part of the service.

4. Your request is not yet an engagement

Sending the order form does not create an attorney-client relationship or any obligation for either side. We review every request, and we may ask for more information or decline a request. If we can help, we send you a written quote. An engagement begins only when you accept the quote and we confirm receipt of your payment.

5. Quotes, prices and payment

  1. Quotes are in Israeli shekels (ILS). Any amount shown in another currency is an estimate for your convenience only.
  2. A quote lists our professional fee separately from government fees, such as issuing and apostille fees, and from courier costs.
  3. Payment is made by secure credit-card link or by bank transfer, as set out in the quote. You bear your bank's transfer and currency-conversion charges.
  4. VAT is added where required by Israeli law.
  5. A quote is valid for 30 days. Government fees change from time to time. If a fee increases before we pay it, we will tell you before we proceed.

6. Power of attorney and your information

  1. To act for you, we need a power of attorney in the form we provide. You sign it on one of the routes described on our pages: online through the Israeli national digital ID system, before an Israeli consul, or before a notary followed by consular authentication.
  2. For the consular and notarial routes, we need the original signed document.
  3. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents you give us, including any proof of family relationship. Some documents are issued only to people with a legal right to receive them. We cannot obtain a document that the law does not allow us to request on your behalf.

7. Timing

We give you an estimated timeline with the quote. Many steps depend on government authorities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the courts and couriers, which are outside our control. Estimates are not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by those parties, holidays, strikes or emergencies.

8. Acceptance abroad

The foreign authority decides what it accepts. We order the documents you request, and we check them against any requirements you upload. We cannot guarantee that a foreign authority will accept a particular document, apostille or translation, or that its requirements will not change. We recommend confirming the requirements with the authority before ordering.

9. Cancellation and refunds

  1. You may cancel before we start work and receive a full refund of the amounts paid, less bank and payment charges.
  2. Once work has started, amounts already paid to authorities, couriers or translators cannot be refunded. Our fee is refunded in proportion to the work not yet performed.
  3. These terms do not limit any right you have under mandatory consumer law, including the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, where it applies.

10. Delivery

We send the documents to the address you give us, with a tracking number. Risk of loss passes to you when we hand the documents to the courier. Insured shipping is available on request at an additional cost. If a shipment is lost, we will help you obtain replacement documents, and replacement costs are charged at the rates in the original quote.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with a request is limited to the professional fee you paid us for that request. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Confidentiality and privacy

We treat your information as confidential, in accordance with our professional duties as attorneys. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

13. Information on our pages

The content on these pages is general information, not legal advice about your situation. Government requirements and fees change from time to time.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you send your request applies to that request.
